The Macedonia Trail Race is one of our favorite events of the summer racing season and we always look forward to sponsoring it. This year we decided to provide winners with TrailHeads performance running shirts, and to make these commemorative prizes extra special, we went to Turning Leaf to have them printed.

Turning Leaf is an organization that rehabilitates men coming home from prison through transitional employment, therapy and job placement. Their re-entry program has a 78% success rate.

67% of men released from prison get re-arrested. For men who participate in the Turning Leaf program that number drops to 22%. Turning Leaf provides 150 hours of individual counselling, group therapy classes, and a temporary job in their t-shirt screen printing business. At the end of their 4 month screen printing job all graduates are placed in new jobs with competitive pay and benefits.

Our Macedonia shirts turned out wonderfully and we look forward to working with Turning Leaf on future TrailHeads projects.
